ooo---that pursegloss looks cool. How does the brush part work? I have a brush-on gloss in a similar tube from Claire's, but the brush works like crap. Is that one good at smoothing the stuff on?

It's very, very good. I really like it. The only downside: it doesn't taste fantastic, like the Aqua Gloss does. I always like yummy lip gloss, but I guess I have to suffer icky taste for pretty lips.

hee, I changed my mind, and Im getting it in Beijing! I'm hope you like the MUFE liner! Lisbeth told me to get that one, but I REALLY want the smashbox one, so I may get that one instead of a tarte blusher. OH YAY, you got the custom creations! good girl! I hope you adore it. _________________ Puffy's blog and YT!

I'm a very happy kitten wiff all these new goodies. I like the MUFE one, but I didn't even really look at the Smashbox one, silly me, so I didn't even compare. I would go with the liner instead of the blusher. I was actually playing with the Tarte stuff today in Sephora and honestly... it's kinda icky. I wouldn't want that on my cheeks.. it's super.. sticky and greasy. I wasn't very pleased...

ah, rry? some people love it, and some hate it. I'd try to swap on makeup alley, but damn, those ladies are snooty. I noticed that my Hourglass duo in Brazilian is on a lot of wishlists there, and I'll be damned if I swap a $60 blush duo for a $28 blush that's icky and sticky. Its the only really expensive item I have! this summer I wanted to do some nice, bright looks, so I think I'll look into a cargo blush. man, have I got some cargo fever. //and I just realized the post was in the wrong spot! moved it for convenience. _________________ Puffy's blog and YT!

Aww noooes, thanks for moving it! I knew there was a more appropriate place for it, and I couldn't find it. Fanks, love. Stick with the Cargo (pun completely unintended). It's much better, I swear.

No problem ma'am! I know its a little hard to keep up due to all the subtopics. :] and I so will. I'm gonna look at some shades and make a quick decision. n.n ALSO: I'd LOVE it if you did a review on the blush and foundation for my blog. I'm on a cargo rampage, and I think it would be a nice feature! Plus, I'd like it if the people that read my blog had not one, but two opinions on the custom creations. I think it'll be dead useful! all credit will go to you, and I'll link to your myspace/whatever blog you may have/whatever you'd like! _________________ Puffy's blog and YT!

from sephora::
| Quote: | | Portable and easy-to-carry lip gloss that is housed in a petite, droplet shaped, squeezable plastic tube and dispensing lip brush combination. The attached brush eliminates the need for a separate lip brush making PurseGloss ideal for touch-ups on the go. The attached brush also allows for sanitary application of lip gloss and has been designed with a shut off valve to avoid messy leaks. |
in short,
its awesome. buy it. you need it. the brush works well [the gloss comes out of the middle, so careful how you squeeze or you'll get too much], it glides everything on evenly, and the shape makes it easy to squeeze gloss out.
mum and I have messy bags, so this crap is ideal! hahaa._________________ Puffy's blog and YT! |

Yeah I've had a few oopsies by squeezing too much out, but it's really nice. I prefer these brush-type applicators to the plastic tops or the worst: those fuzzy things. I really dislike those...

oh yeah, you never get enough product on them, so you have to apply and apply and apply! stupid wands. usually I find a gloss so good I can overlook it [benefit!] but otherwise, it can be pretty annoying. I don't mind those angled plastic applicators - my aquafina glosses have those - because with those I just squeeze gloss on finger and apply. but that's messy! brush applicators give a happy medium. _________________ Puffy's blog and YT!
