My mom had bought the Rimmel 16 hour liquid foundation and was raving about it. So, when I ran out of my Maybelline Mousse foundation, I decided to try the Rimmel Mousse foundation.

I was a little surprised at how wet it goes on, but it dries to flawlessness. It feels a little strange if you've never used primer under makeup before (the foundation actually has that primer feel to it), but I got used to it quickly.

It also made my eyeshadow brighter on my eyelids! I was quite pleased ...

My mom wants to go shopping for foundation. She has very dry, olive complexion, with some wrinkles. Foundations tend to look cakey, and powders just look gross. Any recommendations? (Can be drugstore or higher end)

a nice cozy bit for maybelline! I think they make mascaras that rival only Japanese mascaras [those Japs have a TRUE understanding of beauty, let me tell you], and they're the best I've ever tried. Dior is fine and dandy and all, but I'd rather have a tube of volum' express any day of the week.

their lip stuff is rockin, too. I love the colourstay lipstick stuff. everyone compliments me when I wear it in Pink [yes, that's the shade name! how lazy ], and it really does last.

I had to start this topic, because I've been wondering about the new and "improved" CG trublend foundation! I know I totally raved about the last one...until it melted off. but I've been wondering if it would be worth trying.

and I have to admit, they have pretty good mascaras, but they always dry up my lashes a bit. I've heard great stuff about lash blast, though - only complaint about that one is the awkward orange tube, which is apparently too large for dainty, feminine hands!
