I second Shauna's question! As for the pictures, does your camera have a macro setting? It'll let you take fabulous close-up pictures, on mine it's a little flower icon, might be different on yours.

My fantabulous camera that I have lost the battery charger for (grr) has a macro setting sooooo when I find the charger/buy a new one (grr again) I will try and get better pics.
